We're proud to have helped fund the production of this new birding resource, the Willamette Valley Birding Trail map, and to be a sponsor of several "stations" along the "Portland Loop".
The free Willamette Valley Birding Trail map is a self-guided driving itinerary highlighting 138 birding hotspots, including many sites that you can access by bike or public transit. The broad Willamette Valley is known for its fertile land with orchards, vineyards and rolling grass fields nested between the snow-capped volcanic peaks of the Cascade Mountains and the forests of the Coast Range, the willamette Valley offers an abundance of birds in every season! You can pick up your free copy in any of our shops, as long as supplies last.
A preliminary version of the map can be seen online. Check out a preliminary version of the map, put together in June 2009, by clicking here.
