Meet Genece Klein, Illustrator

Genece is the artist responsible for the great majority of pen and ink illustrations that you see on our website, in our newspaper advertisements, and in our "snail mail" newsletter. Her illustrations are not only great-looking and accurate, they're full of life and and fun! We highly recommend Genece for her artistry and professionalism!

“I have lived in the Portland/Vancouver area all my life.  My father was an artist and taught me to draw at the early age of 5.  Every day after school he had me draw.  It wasn’t fun at that age, I felt pushed, but my Dad saw talent in my doodles and didn’t give up.  In school my teachers encouraged me to draw.  I went to Clark College and won the Macordic Art Scholorship.  My work was shown and displayed in the gallery at Clark College.  I have done art work for Backyard Bird Shop, Clark County Environmental Dev., Studio Resource Center, and many more businesses and special projects.  I do pen and ink drawings of products, still life, wildlife logos posters and people, acrylic paintings of all subjects, murals of all subjects and portraits of people and animals.  I reside in the beautiful town of Vancouver, Washington where I get inspired by the wildlife and scenic country side.  If you have a project for me, email me at ” Thank you!  ....
