Are squirrels taking over your seed feeder?  Here are five squirrel-discouraging techniques:

1.  Surround the seed with a cage that squirrels cannot crawl through
2.  Close off squirrels’ access to the seed using one of the family of Squirrel Buster feeders.
3.  Flip them off the feeder with a Yankee Flipper feeder.
4.  Block their path to the feeder. Baffles that will fit around a 4x4 post or 1” pole will prevent squirrels from climbing up.
5.  Try a “distraction feeder” filled with squirrels’ favorite foods—peanuts, filberts, nut mixes, and dried corn.
