Intro to Backyard Birdwatching July 9th at our N.E. Fremont Location

Meet a variety of backyard birds, their habits and identification tips and tricks. Learn to use binoculars and a field guide, and to id a few bird songs. On Sunday July 11, put it all into practice with a walk at Hoyt Arboretum. Call our N.E. Fremont shop at 503-445-2699 to register. $20 class fee. Birding Beyond the Backyard Class On July 16th

Join naturalist and educator Tom Rapp for an introduction to birds less likely to be seen at a feeder, like wetland birds, birds of prey, and warblers. Learn the calls of several owls rarely seen but often heard. Follow up on Sunday July 18 with a walk at Oaks Bottom Wetlands. The class takes place in the N.E. Fremont Backyard Bird Shop.
