Dawson Creek Free Guided Bird Walk on August 7th

Join naturalist and educator Elaine Murphy on a guided bird walk along Dawson Creek, hosted by the Beaverton Backyard Bird Shop. We'll meet at the Beaverton shop to carpool to the site. Walks last 2 - 3 hours.

Join naturalist and educator Elaine Murphy for a guided bird walk at Dawson Creek Park near Hillsboro. It’s a great way to learn how to recognize our local birds!

The walk starts at 8:00 a.m. when we meet at the Beaverton Backyard Bird Shop to carpool to the site (11429 S.W. Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy).  The walk will last between 2 and 3 hours.  Dress for the weather!  And, please, no pets!  Some bird walks fill up—we limit participation to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable, and educational, time.  Advanced reservations are required—please phone the Beaverton shop as soon as possible to reserve your spot (503-626-0949).
