Bat Class (Beaverton)

March 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join our BYBS bat enthusiast for an evening workshop on these important and beneficial animals. Have fun learning why bats are awesome partners for farmers and gardeners, and their essential role in ecosystems around the world. You may be surprised by the diversity and beauty of bats across this blue planet! We’ll highlight local bats and habitat types in the PNW and the best bat house design features for our area. See how bats are celebrated in many cultures yet have a scary reputation elsewhere. We’ll finish with what it means to have bats in your yard, and guidelines for “what to do if…” situations.  Please join us for facts, laughter and hopefully some inspiration!

Space is limited, and we require a reservation, so please phone the host shop as soon as possible to make sure we have room for you!  We request a $5 pre-registration fee.  The day of the class, your fee will be reimbursed with a $5 in-store coupon.
