Champoeg State Park Bird Walk
June 5 @ 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Situated on the south bank of the scenic Willamette River, Champoeg’s acres of forest, fields, and wetlands recreate the landscape of a bygone era. Enjoy seeing Western Bluebirds, Western Meadowlarks, eagles, Ospreys, Turkey Vultures and more! Join expert naturalist Laura Whittemore as she takes you on a free bird walk hosted by the Lake Oswego (Lower Boones Ferry Rd.) location of Backyard Bird Shop.
We’ll meet at the park at 8 a.m. Advance reservations are required—we limit the number of participants to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and educational experience. Some of our walks do fill up, so please phone the shop (503-620-7454) to reserve your spot as soon as you can. Dress for the weather! And, please, no pets!
