Float and Bird on the Tualatin River – September

Join Mark Fitzsimons and Tualatin Riverkeepers as we paddle along the Tualatin River to view and hear the returning neotropical migrant birds. Listen for the sounds of black-headed grossbeaks, western wood peewees and common yellowthroats. See the colorful western tanagers and lazuli buntings. Thrill at the belted kingfishers and ospreys diving for fish. Get close to the resident great blue herons and green herons.
We launch at 9am so please arrive 30 minutes prior. No experience necessary
Space is limited and reservations are required. Personal flotation devices must be worn on paddle trips. TRK trips may be cancelled due to severe weather (lightning, flooding, ice etc.), but will often take place in the rain. Please dress accordingly.
You can rent a double kayak ($50) or a single kayak ($40) through TRK for this special tour.
