Linda

Linda has been a part of our team since 1992. In the early days there was no such position as giftware buyer – to be honest, in the early days there was no giftware. It was Linda who, with our founder’s support, expanded our offerings of birdseed and bird feeding supplies to include nature-inspired gifts, books, jewelry and more. 

Linda is an artist in her own right and worked as an educator before joining Backyard Bird Shop. Her eye for the unique and beautiful is paired with a passion for broadening and deepening our response to everything around us. Combine all this with Linda’s desire to make the world a better place, and she consistently finds giftware and products that offer educational and cultural prizes on top of supporting local artists, small businesses and vendors using environmentally and socially responsible practices.
