I’m new to BYBS but not to Portland. I was born and raised here but  picked up the bird bug while living in New Mexico the last 30 years.  Now I’m back home and eager to do some northwest birding. I already miss “my” Curve-billed Thrashers and Roadrunners, but am happy knowing I get to see the hummingbirds year ‘round, and am eager to acquaint myself with the Varied Thrush, Townsend’s Warbler, and many more local birds.
